How vardenafil works
Vardenafil is a PDE5 inhibitor, like sildenafil and tadalafil. It helps blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. It usually starts working within an hour, and a heavy, fatty meal can delay it. Its effect lasts about 4 to 5 hours, similar to sildenafil and much shorter than tadalafil.
